We are seeking an exceptional Teacher/Nanny to join a well-established and experienced team supporting an active school-aged child in a fully staffed, high-profile household based in the Bay Area, CA, with extensive global travel.

This is a Rota position (2 weeks on / 1 month off) with worldwide travel during school holidays. You will join two fantastic long-term Teacher/Nannies, with the current third team member preparing for retirement after 17 wonderful years. The team is collaborative, professional, and deeply committed to the child’s academic and personal development.

Key Details
Schedule: 2 weeks on / 1 month off (flexibility required based on travel and family needs)
Annual Work Weeks: ~17.3 weeks/year per nanny

Travel: Extensive international and domestic travel required; fly-in/fly-out position
Location: Bay Area during shifts; live-out or live-in during shift; can reside anywhere when off duty

Child: 10-years-old attending local private school (not homeschooled)


The family is hiring for a confident, experienced, and highly proactive Teacher/Nanny who will:

*Be a strong academic support system—reinforcing school concepts, identifying challenges early, and
helping manage school demands
*Take full ownership of the child’s academic and extracurricular calendar, proactively managing school
events, portals, assignments, and scheduling
*Bring a teacher’s structure and discipline, with a nurturing, creative, and adventurous personality
*Support team harmony and bring a strong “we” not “me” attitude
*Be confident and capable working in a fast-paced, fully staffed home with high expectations and lots of
moving parts
*Ideal Candidate Profile
*Former middle school or high school teacher with strong academic instincts
*Experience as a 24/7 Rota nanny with UHNW or HP families
*Proven ability to travel extensively with children for work (not personal travel)
*Capable of planning global adventures, activities, and educational experiences for both the primary child
and visiting guests
*Comfortable working closely with EAs, PAs, chefs, drivers, and security teams
*Able to manage downtime productively (e.g., planning, shopping, organizing, admin) while the child is in
school
